EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Alex Tisch is President & CEO of Loews Hotels & Co, a hospitality group that owns and/or operates 26 hotels across the United States and Canada.

He is also Vice President of Loews Corporation (NYSE: L), the parent company of Loews Hotels & Co, a diversified holding company with operations primarily in the U.S.

Tisch joined Loews Hotels in 2017, and today, as President & CEO, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the New York based owner and operator of hotels and experiences. 

During his tenure, Tisch has led a multi-billion dollar expansion program, focused on bringing the company’s growth strategy to fruition by cultivating successful strategic partnerships with municipalities, developers, themed entertainment ventures, and sports franchises to create unique and differentiated hotel and hospitality product offerings.

This growth has accounted for an approximately 50% increase in hotel rooms, through the ground-up development of major projects in Arlington, Texas; St. Louis, Missouri; Kansas City, Missouri; Coral Gables, Florida and Orlando, Florida.

Tisch has been with Loews Corp since 2008 and was previously a Vice President in the Corporate Development group. Prior to joining Loews Corp, he worked at Credit Suisse, arranging leveraged buyout financings and doing merger and acquisition advisory. Tisch has also spent time in the financial investment industry.

He sits on the Board of Directors of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA,) The National Medal of Honor Museum, e-commerce platform Moda Operandi and the New York City Police Foundation.

Tisch is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the NYU Stern School of Business.
