CHICAGO, Aug. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CNA today announced the recent appointment of Shay Conyers to Assistant Vice President of Distribution. In this role, Conyers is responsible for helping shape CNA's distribution model and works with national agent and brokers to drive mutually profitable growth. He reports to Rocco Orlando, Senior Vice President, Sales & Distribution, and will be based in Chicago, Illinois.

"Shay's 16 years of industry experience, combined with his deep relationships with agency partners, make him a great addition to the Sales & Distribution team and well suited to lead Distribution for CNA," Orlando said.

Conyers joined CNA in 2012 as Business Development Leader for CNA's Florida Branch where he has helped develop distribution strategies and has partnered with agents and brokers in the state of Florida. Prior to joining CNA, he served as Commercial Lines Territory Underwriting Manager for Harleysville Insurance Company in Atlanta, Georgia.

Conyers holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Florida and a master's degree in business administration from Georgia State University.
