CHICAGO, March 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CNA today announced the appointment of Ziad Kubursi to senior vice president, Financial Institutions and Management Liability, effective April 6, 2015. In this role, Ziad will be responsible for the strategic leadership and profitable growth of these high-performing areas.

Ziad brings more than 18 years of insurance industry experience to this role, most recently serving as senior vice president, head of the Management & Professional Liability division for Philadelphia Insurance Company, a member of Tokio Marine Group. Prior to Philadelphia Insurance Group, Ziad held key positions at AIG's Financial Lines organizations, including zonal vice president & regional executive, senior vice president national accounts, and head of Financial Lines - Growth Economies.
Ziad holds an executive master of business administration from the London Business School, a master of business administration from Adelphi University and bachelor of arts in government and politics from George Mason University.
