CHICAGO, March 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CNA today announced the appointment of David Lim as Assistant Vice President, Management Liability Zone Leader for the Northern Zone. In this role, David is responsible for providing overall underwriting expertise for the Public and Private Company management liability book of business in the company's Northern Zone branches. He reports to Steve Wachtel, Senior Vice President and Northern Zone Officer.

"David's 13 years of industry experience, combined with his strong leadership skills make him a great addition to the team. He is well suited to help optimize CNA's management liability results and ensure a superior customer experience," Wachtel said.

David joins CNA from Chubb, where he served as Assistant Vice President for the California region and managed a team of underwriters to achieve profitability, growth and strategic objectives. Prior to that role, he served as Senior Multinational Specialist and Regional Underwriting Officer. David began his career at Travelers.

David earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
