Diamond Offshore’s high specification semisubmersible rigs are generally capable of working in water depths of greater than 4,000 feet, while its intermediate semisubmersible rigs generally work in water depths shallower than 4,000 feet. Jack-up rigs are used for drilling in water depths of less than 350 feet.
